Today: You could be coerced by someone who simply won’t take no for an answer. Another possibility is that you could be lured by the possibility of making a fast buck. Your resources could be overstretched too. The need to assist someone who’s clearly not been well might need to take priority. It may be that a decision about a trip can’t be reached until this the person is better.

Tomorrow: Protecting your interests is likely to mean standing up to someone who thinks they can spend your ‘play’ money for you. You might not be in the mood to take any kind of risk. That said, you might be happy to pit your wits in a test or exam – especially if knowledge of a geographical area is required. Your romantic life is likely to be boosted by someone who has considerable charm and who entices you by playing hard to get.

This Week: It would be understandable if you stated that ‘work is hard’ this week. Pleasure may be hard to come by and you might feel overwhelmed by responsibilities and the need to meet deadlines which you feel to be unrealistic. Another possibility is that you’re all too well aware that others have ignored their responsibilities for too long, and have left it to you to marshal resources. This does not make best use of your talents. True, you may have brought together a team who you feel could rescue a difficult situation. First you need to know that someone recognises its gravity. This week may be about making clear that you need to see results and be assured that a load will lift from your shoulders before the end of January. It’s also probable that the needs of a close friend or colleague now need to take priority. They may be dealing with issues of life, death, legacy or inheritance and require extra support.
