True, you may think you ‘need the money’ or the goodwill that helping out would buy you. There’s a risk in running your energy-reserves dry though. Scorpios could, unwittingly, be particularly demanding.

Today: Planning and negotiations seem to be the big theme. This might even include visiting a relative to store – (or unstore!) items. News from a long-distance friend could prompt thoughts of undertaking an adventure or extra training. Closer to home, the ups and downs of a long-distance romance could surprise and delight you – and might even result in an impromptu meeting.

Tomorrow: Obligations to older people – possibly friends of family – could put you under some strain. Through these though you could be tipped off about a work opportunity. Your attention to detail might be complimented on by those who don’t know you well, but give cause for concern to those who do. They might recognise that your ‘worry volume’ is moving to too high a setting- possibly because you’re in danger of taking on too much.

This Week: As of Monday, Mars begins its transit of your opposite sign. And yes, it is possible that you will be angered by the actions of others. Perhaps you feel that they could have done more much earlier. Perhaps you feel you’ve been carrying more weight than you should been doing. Mars may be alerting you to opportunities that will come in February. These are steppingstones. It is possible that someone close is determining a career path you had not envisaged. Perhaps you feel your security will be threatened. Yet we are living through extraordinary times, and adapting to new conditions is imperative. Whilst not every Cancerian will have to deal with health issues, there is the strong possibility of needing to put well-being high priority. Concern for someone who’s grappling with new ideas that are supposed to broaden their education but to your mind might be doing precisely the opposite, and who you sense is overwhelmed, could also put you on edge. The support of colleagues born under the other Cardinal signs of Aries, Libra or Capricorn should make a real difference and ensure that by next weekend’s New Moon, that you are embracing challenge as adventure.
